There's a lot of 'vintage' and new parts available for restoring, upgrading and otherwise modifying your guitar these days. Not everything is as it seems and sometimes what you pay for isn't what you get. Reproduction parts can be realistically aged to look vintage (and sometimes get sold as such), incorrect information is sometimes provided about what parts are relevant for what guitars in what years and there are a wide range of qualities; from something that's a perfect fit to something that doesn't work at all.
Out of frustration we've decided to carry a small quantity of reproduction and authentic vintage parts. We're also striving to give you plenty of information regarding their appropriate use to ensure that if you're pimping your new guitar with relic reproduction parts or restoring an authentic vintage instrument, you'll get the right part for the job.
