Snap! Hey we have two ... OK so one's a '62 and it's a real one and this is a '65 but how cool's that? It's been a great opportunity for comparison and gee how it really does compare. Does she compare with a real '60's Strat? Actually it's bloody frightening how close the boys at the Custom Shop get with these things.

So here we go: A 2004 Fender Custom Shop '65 Relic Strat in Sherwood Green with original hard case, with an unopened accessory package (it's never even had the tremolo arm screwed in!), certificate of authenticity dated 12/2/04, Serial #R20260, weighs 7.40 pounds, beautiful round laminate rosewood fretboard with killer grain,  plays like a dream! This was traded by a guitar collector who never played it. Never ... played it. What? He never played it?

It's as-new and mint (even thought the boys at the Fender Custom Shop spend a really long time making it look old).

We've set her up as 'low vintage' and put on some Fender pure nickel strings. As mentioned earlier: comes with all case candy, certificate of authentication and a custom shop Fender hard shell case.
