Product Description

Neck dated 6-60, pots all dated 20th week of 1960. Completely original wire assembly, including pickups, pots, capacitor, switch, and all solder joints. All the plastic parts are original: back plate, switch tip, covers, green nitrate pickguard, knobs, and the aluminum shielding plate. All screws, bridge, saddles, jack-plate, strap-buttons, trem arm and trem claw are original as well. Brazilian rosewood slab fingerboard with original clay dots and original frets.

It features a well-worn Olympic White finish without the yellowing lacquer top-coat and without any undercoat. This wasn't unusual for Fender and there are many documented cases, particularly for White. The guitar plays and sounds as good as you can imagine - outrageously, insanely good. It is light and resonant, weighing in at 7.5 pounds. The pickups are strong and balanced, with DC resistances of 5.9, 6.0, and 5.8 (N/M/B). Great 1960 profile neck and beautifully set up by Jim Mathaes. In original 1960 Fender hardshell case.

Ready to go for the Fender collector, astute investor or serious player who only wants the best.
