General Electric blackplate greyglass with silver gothic print lettering on base,  this 6V6-GT features deep black internal glass coating, blackplate and bottom getter. This are the really old, scarce, 1940 vintage tube and it has a sound of it's own - soft and warm until pushed, where it turns into a monster.  6V6 tubes were commonly used throughout the Tweed, Brown, Blonde and Blackface Fender amps of the 50's and 60's, including the Champ, Princeton and Deluxe amongst many others.
