Early 80's legendary GK 250ML. One of the rarest micro-amps in the world. 2 x 4 1/2" speakers, total 100w output with A/B channel switching, headphones out, effects loop in/out balanced XLR direct-out to mixer, 1/4" for for bi-amping, compressor/expander, gain, 4 pot EQ, stereo echo and stereo chorus. Arguably one of the most versatile amps ever built, the A channel is sparkly and clean with an uncanny 'sag' almost identical to tube sag. Compression and gain switches turn this channel from clean Jazz to texas blues. The B channel starts at overdriven Fender Champ and with it's own gain switch enabled, launches into flat out shred at any volume. GK say the B channel is the result of over 20 years reasearch into warm tube-like SS distortion. Throw your pedals away or leave them at home - you won't be needing them.
All effects including gain, compressor, echo and chorus are 'tunable' via trim pots. EQ is so profound there's almost no tone you can't get from the most enigmatic toaster sized amp in existence. This one is a AU (240v) Mark II. What's the difference between a Mark 1 and a Mark 2? Buggered if I can find it.
