There's a lot of speculation I've heard about whether Kiefer Sutherland knows about guitars or not. It's just totally irrelevant in my view. We all owe the man a debt of gratitude for spurring on Gibson to make this 336 because it's just an outrageously good guitar. This one is mint VGC++. Not a mark. Ours is number 59 which is highly significant because that's the number of times Jack Bauer saves the world in the 24 series (so far).

The first thing you notice is the Gold top - a lot like an LP Gold top and scarily like the old LP Signature with its mahogany sides and back (the Sig was underrated and I'd buy one tomorrow if I could find one). The body is smaller than the 335 which is a good thing in my book and the overall experience is a tight and accurate feel. The KS 336 features a "tonally chambered back and sides" which is a fancy way of saying it's carved from a single piece of mahogany. The top is carved two-piece maple. It has really nice Super 400 style fingerboard markers and very smooth low-ratio machines, bone nut and medium jumbo frets. The pickups are adged Nickel Gibson '57 Classic Plus humbuckers.
